2008 Moore County "Fall" Government 101

(Moore
County) -- County 101, the hottest
ticket to information about local services,
kicks off this Fall session on Thursday,
September 25th
with
Orientation.
County 101 is an
exciting 7-week series on how County
government works, in an effort to help
citizens become more informed and involved
in our beautiful community.
Aside from the various classroom settings,
the course will include, tour of the county
Jail, Sheriff’s office, and EMS facility.
Classes will be held Tuesdays and Thursdays
from 6:00 - 8:00 PM in selected departments
throughout the County. At the end of the
session, there will be a graduation for
those completing at least 11 of the 14
sessions.
